Lmao. Because straight people never think about sex? Which answers for the planet's general over-population lmao. Gay people, just like straight people, are allowed to be sexual without it being deviant and obsessive, you douche nozzle. Now go get in the kitchen and make your wife a sandwich for what would probably be the first time. ^You make a fair point, but I would argue it's just as much on society and Hollywood itself. Give us an unhappy ending and so many get up in arms about it and can't handle it. I can PM you about it if you like Just curious, did you read the book? I won't just post spoilers, but the movie, which was a pretty faithful adaptation, veers in a wildly different direction for the end Haha I wasn't wrong though. Some tropes are just so obvious. I don't think it's a goof. You're not going to inspect and overthink in that situation, all you know is something huge hit the car and so you NEED TO MOVE I like your analogy. But I'd argue that a stronger comparison would be the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy. Lack of involvement of original creators, George Lucas in both cases. And it being done by Disney. The saving grace here is that 5 truly does look to be the end. Star Wars could've benefitted from an true finale instead of just existing to launch so much else. Agreed. But if you look past the surface. Who knows. Those in charge must be very aware that it'll be a natural temptation for workers to relate to the "product." So it's really not unreasonable to think that the bosses might have demands on how the workers speak to each other regarding the "products." Really not unreasonable. Heck in the world as we know it you're not "supposed" to talk to coworkers about how much you earn. So the bosses might do that as a way to control the atmosphere and attitude. Creates sort of a dilemma. Those guards, perhaps none of them are really that callous. But they each think the others are, and they better do the same so they don't stick out. Also, we don't know their backgrounds. These could all be hardened criminals or former military or something that hardens you. Or they're in a spot where they can't say no. Really, all sorts of reasons they might put up a front. Just goes to show you should think for yourself instead of listening to fair-weather celebrities. As for me, I'm gay and liberal and pro-LGBT rights, and I drink Bud the same amount as I did before this whole saga. On occasion, when it's the preferable available option to me. Because I didn't know who Dylan Mulvaney was beyond this. And I support her right to be herself, but beyond that I don't care a whole lot. But Light, I liked that they were initially supportive, and disappointed in them for their attempted turn-around, but also, businesses are unfortunately going to follow the dollar, because that's their whole point, and sadly nowadays that means they need to have a publicly stated opinion on nearly every issue. Well now there is one thanks to you. I'm not surprised, sadly. From the best I can tell, since imdb shut down their boards, this site is what comes closest to it. And while traffic has picked up, it's nowhere near the heights of being busy imdb was. Honestly I think after the imdb boards shut down, a lot of people by and large gave up on that kind of posting, and are happy to just keep it on facebook or whatever. Yeah but Rose not being shy with Jack is entirely different from Kate Winslet not being shy with the world. She has done many nude scenes, but you can show something a million times and still reserve the right not to if you don't feel like it. Agreed. Besides Keanu's acting, I also really dislike the Mina is a reincarnation subplot. But those two things aside, wonderful film. Definitely see all points. The movie wasn't trying to be more than it was. But had it wanted to be more serious, a la Rear Window, it would've done better to not go the route of having the lead be a teen. Could've been better with a cop or detective laid up at home in suburbia while recovering from a serious on-the-job injury. Maybe he already has paranoia, or enemies. And would've opened the door for an older, more seasoned and accomplished actor. Not a Shia fan, but not trying to dis him either, just saying, you can't compare him to say, George Clooney For sure. But it's also made clear in the scene where Daniel says to Charity "When I told you, you couldn't wait to sell your soul to the devil" Apparently some people think otherwise, but good job on illustrating the point that the kind of people who need the message are the ones whose heads it went over :) I don't think it's meant to make sense, it's just the two franchises having fun and winking at each other. What really makes it wild is when you take into account the fact that in #5, Tara is watching an episode of Dawson's Creek, also starring Michelle Williams, and the episode she's watching also happens to feature Scott Foley, aka Roman Bridger. So when you throw that in the mix, the whole universe really breaks. We'll have to agree to disagree. There are plenty of experts, smarter than me, and likely smarter than you, who would say it is. And again, their life, not hurting anyone. And again, a real person gets priority over a deity that I don't know is real. And plenty of cultures through history have acknowledged more than one gender, we're just in sort of a Puritanical place right now. Lastly, humanity has invented plenty of constraints that we choose to live within, such as time by a clock, ie "Gotta be at the office at 8am," and currency, and thus poverty. We can adapt to letting people do what they want with their own damn bodies. And while you might not agree with their "delusion," it also hurts/costs you nothing to call them what they prefer. I'd bet you've referred to a singular person as "they." You probably have someone in your life who is cishet, but prefers their middle name, or a nickname, for whatever reason, and you abide by that for them. It's really no different. Even if you don't agree with it, everyone's just better off to go with it, because again, they're not hurting you. I'd say more delusional. At least we know the trans person is real. And the trans person more than likely doesn't have millions of people around the world committing violent atrocities in their name. Personally I'm cisgender, so I don't really "get" it either. But I'm also big on personal choice, live and let live, you do you. They're not hurting anyone, except arguably themselves as those surgeries have to be painful, so it's gotta be something they really want. But unlike God, the trans person is provably alive, here, real, and for that I'll always take their side That makes sense, except it doesn't explain all the blood in between her legs. The Sawyers don't seem rape-inclined, so it doesn't make sense. Would be an awesome opening kill, since they're estranged, to draw the others back to Woodsboro (the franchise can only stay away so long). Also, Hayek is much better than just "MCU alum," especially considering the movie she was in was one of the least good ones.
