Casting Hercules For Disney's Live-Action Remake: 10 Actors Who'd Be Perfect https://screenrant.com/hercules-live-action-casting-disney-remake-actors/ With Hercules finally getting the Disney live-action treatment, it's worth thinking about who would be the best actor to take on the iconic role. The simplest explaining that I've heard is that Val Kilmer kind of quit and also kind of got fired. He quit in part because he was miserable filming in the Batsuit because it was so hot and difficult to move around. He also said in his book, that Warren Buffet's grandkids once visited the Batman Forever set and they completely ignored him despite him being in the Batsuit at time. But he may have gotten fired because like you said, he didn't see eye to eye with the director Joel Schumacher. Plus, Kilmer had booked The Saint without giving Warner Bros. and the Batman production staff a heads up. Val Kilmer even back then, had a reputation of being a testy, problematic actor to deal with. The 94-year-old reclusive, who has not starred in a film in over 20 years, was seen grabbing a sweet treat and a cup of coffee while at a gas station. The legendary Superman actor made headlines last month after he was spotted holding onto 62-year-old Betsy's arm for balance as the lovebirds, who have been married for 33 years, headed to munch on some food. Gene treated himself to a fruity dessert and some caffeine at the Sante Fe, Mexico gas station - just four months after he celebrated his 94th birthday.
DC Can Break a Tiresome Superman Movie Trend With a Little Help From the MCU https://www.cbr.com/dc-can-break-a-tiresome-superman-movie-trend-with-a-little-help-from-the-mcu/ Although Superman often suffers from one-dimensional portrayals, DC has a chance to learn from the MCU and present him as a true character. Supergirl’s $14.3m Box Office Bomb Makes The DCU Reboot Even More Important https://screenrant.com/supergirl-dcu-40-year-movie-bomb-important/ 40 years ago, Supergirl's first solo cinematic outing bombed critically and financially, making her debut in the DCU reboot even more important. I saw Daniel Waters on the Icons Unearthed show on Batman Returns and he too gave me the vibe that he was something of a douchy edgelord. Plus, by several accounts the original screenplay that Waters wrote for Batman Returns before Wesley Strick was brought in sucked. Perhaps, they were examples of actors who were more or less, "forced onto" Burton. And Daniel Waters, who was the screenwriter for Batman Returns, admitted on Icons Unearthed that he didn't like Robert Wuhl's Alexander Knox character. Knox was actually originally going to die at the end of Batman 1989. And Robert Wuhl even said that maybe by keeping his character alive, that would mean that they'll inevitably bring him back for the sequel. Daniel Waters was interviewed on the third episode of Vice TV's Icons Unearthed series on the Batman movies, and he said that Tim Burton brought in Wesley Strick to "punch up" his Batman Returns script. Waters made it known that he wasn't appreciative of Strick putting a bunch of real world pop cultural stuff like Alfred mentioning to Bruce "The Love Connection" or Bruce name dropping Norman Bates and Ted Bundy to Selina Kyle. https://www.google.com/search?q=wesley+strick+batman+returns+site:www.batman-online.com&sca_esv=4c3180f19713410c&sca_upv=1&sxsrf=ACQVn081zlL-nW1EtOj9IJGg1Kef70m4Fg:1712202591390&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjy4vjZ06eFAxWBkIkEHYwHBqQQrQIoA3oECCQQBA&biw=1600&bih=773&dpr=1 I was watching Vice TV's Icons Unearthed series, and Billy Dee Williams was interviewed saying that when he did Batman 1989, he really didn't interact or collaborate with Tim Burton that much. Jon Peters brought Billy Dee for the Harvey Dent role, and Billy Dee was hopeful that down the line, it would inevitably lead to him to becoming Two-Face. But of course, by the time that Batman Returns rolled around, Tim Burton didn't want a lot of "baggage" from the first movie to carry over since he was now given creative carte blanche over the sequel. So a lot of characters from the first movie such as Vicki Vale, Alexander Knox, and Harvey Dent had to go. Batman Forever like the 1989 movie in its own way, was I believe, a compromised film. They still wanted to retain some of the darkness and pathos of the Tim Burton ones (i.e. the stuff with Dick Grayson wanting revenge against Two-Face and the Red Book subplot involving Bruce Wayne's father), yet Warner Bros. didn't want too far like they did with Batman Returns. So Forever was decidedly more optimistic and "mainstream" (i.e. less weird, gross, and "Tim Burtony" as seen in Returns). Joel Schumacher before that, directed The Lost Boys, which you could argue, was a dark and pulpy comic book type of movie. So on paper at least, you would think that directing a Batman movie would be something that was up his wheelhouse. How exactly is this post in your words, "stupid"!? Why not explain why you feel this way rather than just saying that the whole thing is stupid and then leaving? The Tragic DOWNFALL of Amanda Bynes: How Nickelodeon & Dan Schneider DESTROYED an Icon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6_EHpoDUnw
The tragic downfall of Amanda Bynes from Nickelodeon and Dan Schneider’s story is as disturbing as it is sad. From child fame, to older boyfriends, to multiple crimes, Amanda Bynes story and documentary is eye opening about Nickelodeon and Dan Schneider. Who do you think is to blame? Is anyone? And what is next for Amanda?
Here's the Unsolved Mysteries episode on Brandon in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7QDCZUG17k I thought that I read that there were originally plans to make Crow sequels before Brandon died. The idea would've been that Eric Draven would've been "cursed" to continue roaming the earth for all of entirety as punishment for straying from his mission and interfering with the living (such as intervening with Darla, Sarah's mom's drug addition). It probably wouldn't have made sense anyway once they cut out the Skull Cowboy character (who was kind of a freaky, Obi-Wan Kenobi type of mentor/spirit guide for Eric) from the finished product even had Brandon lived. What was the last significant fatality on a motion picture set prior to Brandon's death? Was it Vic Morrow's on the Twilight Zone movie set back in 1982? Even if Brandon wasn't Bruce Lee's son, I still think that it would've been big news none the less. When the whole Rust tragedy with Alec Baldwin happened, naturally, we all first thought of what happened to Brandon almost 30 years prior as a point of reference. It's really hard to believe now that it has officially been 31 years since we lost Brandon Lee: https://www.cbr.com/brandon-lee-remembered-the-crow-remake-release/ 5 Shocking Celebrity Murder Cases https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4bl45oNwMg 0:00 Introduction 0:14 Leslie Grantham 10:24 Michael Jace 20:17 Rebecca Schaeffer 35:08 Marvin Gaye 47:38 Steve Banerjee "Chippendales" The CW 2024 Rebrand is Futile https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koTTVQjIppg
After nearly 18 years, The CW has been finally updated with a full-fledged rebranding, including a simplified logo with a scarlet color. I have mixed feelings about this facelift, such as the identity. Is The CW turning a new leaf with more to come or is this the last attempt at saving their dying network? Also when I was almost done editing the video, I realized that Paramount sold their tiny sliver of the channel to Nexstar, most likely due to their massive debt. So now Nexstar owns a whopping 87.5%, meanwhile WBD has a miniscule 12.5% of the channel (There is contradicting sources about this, so I might update the description later).
Gene Hackman, 94, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 62, are seen out together for first time in two decades - with reclusive star holding onto her arm as pair grab a bite at New Mexico restaurant https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13255065/Gene-Hackman-wife-Betsy-Arakawa-seen-photos.html
Gene Hackman, who has not starred in a film for the past 20 years, was spotted holding onto his wife Betsy Arakawa's arm for balance as the pair grabbed a bite at Pappadeaux's Seafood Kitchen. The legendary two-time Oscar winner and his long-time partner seemed to be in a good mood as they left the restaurant together. Hackman, who turned 94 in January, was dressed perfectly for a day out, sporting a gray fleece sweater over a casual plaid shirt, outdoor green pants, and black sneakers. His outfit was completed with a khaki baseball cap and sunglasses. His grey hair was tucked behind his ear under the headwear, and he wore his signature mustache.
