I had forgotten about the Muslim neighborhoods. I don't think they were brought back for 'The Conner's', or at least not the episodes I saw. I agree. The three kids were annoying especially Dani. I've only seen a few episodes of 'I Am Jazz,' but I've watched some clips on Youtube. There is one where Jazz is talking to her boyfriend's (I can't remember his name) mother and his mother was saying that she felt it was irrational for her son to deny he is gay when both he and Jazz were born male. I agree that people will say and think that whether or not they believe it themselves. Years ago when British fashion model, and transsexual, Tula appeared on talk-shows with her husband, the audience would often say that he is really gay to be with someone that he knows is a transsexual. He answered them by saying that it was okay with him if people thought that because to deny it makes it seem like there is something terribly wrong with being gay and there isn't, so he owned it. Most guys who are attracted to transsexuals will never do that. I've only known a few that were with transsexuals that I've known and, true, most people did think they were gay, but they didn't care. Yes, her name is Amy Brassette because she is from my hometown. What I found so unbelievable is so many people didn't know he was actually a man much less that he wasn't Shirley. Even she acted really surprised about that when she was talking about it. She still denies she sent hate mail to herself, but I'd be curious what happened to the food stamps charge. I've never read anything that she was arrested or spent any time in jail for EBT fraud. That's what I read too, that he died of throat cancer. I wonder why she basically plays the same character over and over again? She sounded like a younger version of Nana Mary, Roseanne and Jackie's grandmother, that she played on the Roseanne show. She was in a lot of movies, 'Ordinary People', 'Grease' and I liked her in 'Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael.' What was a little strange about this move for me is she had already played an adult who was married to Danny in the series 'Soap' in the '70s, which I used to watch all the time, and this was filmed in '82, I believe, so I was thinking she had to be at least 24 and not a teenager. I just saw this movie for the first time yesterday and I wasn't aware Sharon died back in 2012. Yeah, it was weird they were such close friends. I read that they were still friends when Sharon died. LOL, Lordy!!!
She's gained a lot of weight, though.
I read that she has Lupus. This episode was on Me.TV today. It had to have been inspired by the movie 'Dressed to Kill' that was a huge hit at the time. What was so funny is these three detectives couldn't tell Margo was a man in drag especially with that 5 o'clock shadow and deep voice. Oh sad, I had no idea she died. I only remember her from 'Born Innocent.' Where Linda Blair says, "Shampoo, Lasko. Get me the shampoo, Lasko." Was she the one who kept saying, "Hit her! Hit her!", when Chris went into Moco's room? That's apparently true because with the new documentary that is coming on the ID channel they have said they could only prove Wayne Williams was responsible for two murders, of two adult males, but not the children. I just noticed they are re-making this. I read the book a long time ago, but never saw the movie. Hope I get to see the re-make. I had no idea this was on for ten seasons. I've been watching it on Bounce.TV, so it's new to me. LOL. She was such a 'nice' aunt. That line was funny.
