Yeah, i really don't feel the "part of my religion" thing. That rifle would have solved the fight so easily but just conveniently stopped working after some mud got on it. Not a very reliable gun to have around for a bounty hunter. It felt like i was watching an episode of Hercules and Xena from the 90's. Terrible episode. So annoyingly simple with the good guys and bad guys. Nothing interesting about it. Or at the very least none of them would have won, just like when they met. A woman can't be bested by a man in Disney star wars, regardless of the context. Even ignoring the absurdity of all the woke crap, let's say the Nilfgaard wanted their armor to be phallic. Is this the best they could come up with? A pathetic looking penis? Why not something more imposing and aggressive? A more "we'll fuck you up" armor and less "i just shaved my balls for a day on the beach" look.
army is still "ragged" doesn't make any sense. It's quite obviously a leather armor and making these "wrinkles" would mean a considerable expense
Yeah, that makes no sense from a lore perspective. Those weird wrinkles were extra steps added on purpose. They could have left the armor a plain black leather but it seems they could afford to model them and yet they went with ballsack model. If they wanted that ragged look it would have made more sense to have them with random armor pieces, like you have in any RPG where you get random pieces from enemies. No way, the armor looked pretty badass in the games. See for yourself: https://i.redd.it/ahr13kwlt5031.jpg Say what you will about the game version, at least it doesn't look like they are wearing trash bags. For what it's worth, I think it gets better after the first 2. In fact, the first two are quite boring and confusing. After Yenner is done being ugly and miserable it gets a lot more enjoyable. Hah funny you should mention the hot chick. I gave the show a shot because of her, yes i'm that shallow. Too bad her character is so cringey with all the lame split personality crap. Finished the second episode and came here because i was asking myself the same thing. Guess it's not gonna get any better.
because I’m just not a fan of the Chosen One sort of movie
But that's the entire point of the terminator franchise. You already know in the present what people from the past were important. It has nothing to do with "Chosen one". Someone HAD to be the one that wins the war so obviously that's the person you wanna kill in the past. If he truly believed his crap, he'd have terminators sent back in time to randomly kill every single human they can. I forgot which reviewer mentioned this but because they point out when the girl wasn't there, it means that if the movie DOESN'T do that, it should be real. If they kept it at her just asking what his name was at the end, it would have been clear that she didn't know him. I guess they didn't trust the audience enough to figure it out. Even ignoring the "it was all in his head" aspect, i don't see what she added to the story. It's not like it wasn't clear the guy was clearly nuts. Him realizing she wasn't his girlfriend didn't really break him or anything either. That twist didn't really change anything. I can't agree more. He's not just crazy...he's dim. I understand going crazier by not taking pills and shit but how is he ever gonna be a villain? He's just a kid that wants a hug from his dad, not someone that would pose a threat to anyone, especially batman. Yeah i thought they were talking about an abandoned building or something. How did the police not do anything? I'm assuming most of them had rights to their apartments. I guess you could say they were too scared to complain but it still felt absurd to me. When she was trying to break open that obviously toxic canister to drink and being such a smartass about it. Yeah, let's risk killing everyone in the room and be a bitch about it. Wow, that's a completely different person. I guess it makes sense for kids to not have style and just get any haircut but come one, Mike looks more like a girl than Eleven. Would nobody have mentioned that in the 80's? I know it's a shitty thing to say but considering those kids will never read this forum anyway....yeah, Mike and Will look pretty damn weird. Mostly because of those stupid haircuts. You know, i actually think this is less of social justice and more...this being a movie for women. I just wanted to see a Men in Black sequel, after loving the first one as a kid. Instead what i got was a movie focused on how hot Chris Hemsworth it. I hated Tom in various degrees throughout the series. I know i'm replying to a "dead" post from imdb but i hate him so much, i can't help saying it here as well. What a miserable self obsessed shallow piece of garbage human. Yeah, you get a bit of dialogue in one episode to explain why he acts that way but it's irelevant. It doesn't matter how someone is deep down, it only matters how one acts on the outside. I couldn't understand why the others, besides Donna, put up with his crap. I can't help it, the beast demands it! I kinda doubt they were super humans because they never once tried to recruit Dunn. They seemed pretty anti super humans, regardless of their personalities. But yeah, it's possible. Not to defend that shit ending but i'm pretty sure the swat guys took the civilians away, behind a van or something so they couldn't see. No quite sure, there weren't any wide shots of the whole area to know who was where.
