Looking forward to seeing it on IMAX again! đ And in true IMAX on 70mm, for that matter. Nothing special? Hmm.
Favorite IMAX experience this year still remains John Wick 4, though. Damn, need a re-release of it đ„
Ok Logan paul
Itâs basically a Nolan thing. Muffled/hard-to-hear dialogue and an overpowering score in general? The sound design on his films has received criticism for years for a reason. It hasnât been a big issue for me before, but itâs undeniably a problem.
Hey, but I hear one of their BIG & TOUGH (lib destroying!) heroes absolutely DESTROYED this Barbie film, especially after he was âforcedâ to go see it. Ya know, big olâ Ben shampiro who yells at woke (and is totally not salty at all) like many many on here do. đ€Ł
But lol, typical projecting reactionary bigly bois. Go wOkE gO⊠thatâs nice, totally non-salty bros.
This be harsh not. Ya being a bit gentle compared to what the many others who see her as the diablo say (boring). She deserves this level of hate? Sure, projecting devils with such superior taste & mind. đ€ This new film is totally the worst, though? Sure it is. Spread the word to all the obvious ones who felt this way before the film was even filmed.
Anyway, <i>WHEW</i> what a vast improvement over the last Indy this was! A real Indy adventure. (Also Dial of Destiny> Temple of Doom.) Aaah hell to the no? Yeah, well obvs this board is with you. Since day one all the kewl oh-so-happy chuds up here were ready to call it the worst ever and yada yada ya. In closing, so you had a very bad time with it. Tee hee
Itâs so COOL! Love that aspect. Oh? Well the suits John and the other assassins wear are designed to be bulletproof (yup, they are), so of course theyâre gonna shield themselves that way â as they should.
Still requires a lot of suspension of disbelief? Cool.
<spoiler> âŠâŠâŠâŠ Yeeaah .âŠâŠâŠâŠ <spoiler>
1) Wouldnât be much of a Scream film without the donning of the Ghostface suit and killing the protagonistâs friends. (Would also be a very short film.) 2) Itâs exactly what Billyâs mom did in the first sequel, lol. But you can bet they also wanted to make Richie proud⊠HONOR HIS SO-CALLED LEGACY⊠by doing all this.
Lol, but itâs really no crazier than the motivation most of the *psychopath killers* in this series had. Still reaching? Definitely not compared to the likes of Jill in Scream 4 (she just wanted her auntâs fame, lol) and even Mickey in Scream 2.
Look at it preaching to its reactionary boi choir up here. How bold and oh-so-awaken, boi! Shambles? Hmm, you mean like the entire ultra kewl anti-woke (totally not racist) reich pill brigade has been since the announcement of Arielâs actress was made? And especially after the first trailer for it dropped? Sounds about ALTright.
But aww, how madly obsessed you are with something you hate/see beneath you. Well duh, thatâs how it is with you projecting benny shapiros of the world whoâve been talking about this film (all things WOKEE BOOGEYWOMAN DISNEY â and anything that inconveniences yer Broflake selves) no less than any of your âthey call me racist for no reason waaa waaaâ wokester enemies who actually *gasps* liked-loved this film.
Lol⊠âthey call you racist and sexist if you donât like itâ says the broken record projecting reich wing broflakes whoâve been having meltdowns over this movie for a year for all the REICH reasons. âIt looks, it is BAD and thatâs the only reason we, the true majority whoâve been REASONABLY ranting loudly and excessively about this film, donât like it!â⊠Yes, this again as expected. Twisting things around so they fit your very obvious agenda? Wow, first time the super sane and totally non-biased reactionary manbabies have done this when it comes to big FoRCED DiVERSiTy and WoKE AgENda films (those especially coming from the biggest fascist-hated studio in Hollywood). So yea, projecting as you reactionary chuds do best you are, what else is new up in this broflake safe space.
Go WoKe GO⊠you hear that fascist-hated Hollywood? Sure the big bad Mouse is the #1 enemy of the propagandist reich, but if it hasnât been made clear enough: thee modern film industry as a whole is seen as WoKe by super duper grown big boys on the reich. Yet, somehow youâre still making lots of money overall and not dying off, Hollywood? WOkE! Hell, many on the reich have made careers crying nonstop about your woke boogeywoman ways, so what would these FaIr and BalanCed big boi righties do without you totally not offending them? Oh, theyâd just be ranting about everything else they donât like in the world and scream [insert reich wing buzzwords here]. Now this film was obviously THE ONE the reich wanted to fail more than any other in history (u know why), although you know if it had been a massive hit worldwide⊠the reich pill bois would still find a way to twist things around as theyâve done with other hugely successful films from Disney in particular. DiSnEy pAiD foR THe SeAtS⊠jUst CUz It MaDe a BiLlIon DoESnT MeAn It WasnT a FaIlUre. Oh yeah youâre certainly not projecting, black Little Mermaid-haunted broflake.
While no doubt this movie will always live rent free in the chudsâ heads (theyâll never stop bringing it up, âspecially whenever they make their tired gO WOkE Go bs points), soon itâs on to their next wokee target from a studio and industry that, well of course, lives rent free in their heads. Zzz
A cool, super well-done homage in a film with far, far better sequences and small moments.
The step scene? Awe yea⊠another highlight (highlight after highlight) in this killer fest! A well-executed comedic scene, just glorious stuff.
This film goddamn rules. Huh, says who? Oh, just millions outside this crapfest movie-hating site. It be like that (as usual).
As alwaysâŠ. WHEW! Good to know this cesspool of a movie discourse/hate site far from represents the actual majority. Unaware newbies beware: positivity ainât a thing âround here.
Anyway, congrats on all your well-earned success, John Wick 4 (and the entire franchise). Fucking excellent and beauty of a film. End of

Honorable mentions: Hombre, Cat on a Hot tin Roof, Harper, Somebody up there Likes Me (underrated), Cool Hand Luke, Road to Perdition.
So many great ones
What James Gunn said months ago about Adam in this filmâŠ.
âBut heâs definitely not a good guy. What we're seeing is the infant form of Warlock, newly out of the cocoon, and he does not understand life very well. He's basically a baby.â
I mean, in a word that explains it all. :) No good for some? Naturally. But yeah, going in and basically kinda knowing what to expect with the character made me appreciate (and enjoy) Adamâs role in Vol. 3 that much more. I like that Gunn took this approach regardless; made it more interesting than seeing the already fully developed dour Adam from the comics. Poulterâs performance was great and all the humorous moments with the character worked, as far as Iâm concerned. Adam will certainly grow, though.
Yâall got that. Now step back everyone⊠what has been stated in the above post has been stated by, oh, well lots and lots of the usuals all over here obviously. And nonstop.
But broflake crying about its boogeyman? Dat be bold and original fer sure.
Lol, but a wOkE (non-reich wing) film from a WOKe industry? NO. WAY. And specifically a wokE film thatâs a sequel to a film that was already plenty woKE and obviously had BROKEflakes complaining exactly like this? The hell you say!
Anywho, another home run big bad W!
This is new now. Like, super refreshing it is to see! (In another timeline perhaps.) But yah⊠a bad, <I>very</I> bad time you had with these fairly well-liked (understatement) films? MiSeRabLe were you? Well thenâŠâŠâŠ
<spoiler> HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! </spoiler>
You poâ thing. đ You deserved it! But aww⊠preaching to its oh-so-hateful movie bros up here in MovieChan who believe they speak for the whole world (the majority). When donât they apparently? Adorbs. Well big round of applause to yourselves, o superior movie-watching/hating big bois who hate most things.
As for the rest of you (hateful movie dork-disapproved) in the unkewl majority, damn right these films fucking rule! Outta here
Now to hear from the uber kewl this show should have never happened at all crowd. Those be some real, real ones
But the Mandos taking back MandaloreâŠ. it ruled. Huh, bit the dust? Well free to stop watching at any time you are. Oh right thatâs impossible for some, especially those who love to hate-watch things. Ainât that right, MovieChan?
This mightâve been the most inconsistent season (not a complete home run like 1 & 2), but still solid overall â and not pointless. No? Well⊠Bring on season 4!
Yea as a matter of fact, comparisons to Flash Gordon were made by many back when Ragnarok came out (positively so). And as one mightâve guessed, FG was as an inspiration to Thor: Ragnarok along with other 70âs/80âs fantasy movies, especially the likes of Big Trouble in Little China.
But yeah, this remains an awesome film. And about the MCU elements being stripped away, I agree with (though I would say the same about a bunch of other installments in the MCU).
Oh, hey there V. You know, believe it or not I expected you to drop on this, if you will. And no, not just because that last part in my previous post was added to basically evoke a predictable response from someone, hehe. But yes, expected you specifically. :D
Anyway, it took some years but finally someone took the minor bait! (Though I was hoping its not-so-seriousness could be seen, ya know? Lol.) With that outta the way, well right back at you, sir! Now comparisons to the first film aside, Chapter 2 sure seemed to satisfied plenty of folks overall. Nah? Itâs alright, V. The unc00l majority (fond of all the awesome sequels) are entitled to their correct opinion. âșïž Proceed now
