What a despicable alleged human being, OP. You could not pay me to watch this movie. Completely disagree. But then, I create and post on topics other than who is the “most beautiful” woman. In short, I have an actual life. I just learned about this. What a wonderful journeyman character actor he was. I loved him in First Blood, where you could see there was a man who was trying to be a good man inside his Tough Cop persona, and in Sharkey’s machine, where he was a lovable good cop, Poppa, who loved BBQ, and in the TV show, Hardcastle and McCormack, where he played a hard-ass judge improbably partnered with a sports car racing driver who always INSISTED that law officers READ the Miranda Rights off a project printed piece of paper to a prisoner and not recite them from memory, which can result in the attest being thrown out of court: a Stephen H. Bochco Productuon. The world is a little poorer. Never mentioned. Looks like wood to me. Staffs are traditionally made of wood. A stone staff would be stupidly heavy and uselessly slow as a weapon, and would take a LONG TIME to be sculpted. A bone staff would shatter in combat. Pretty sure it wasn’t adamantium. Note bene: I’m talking about the movie. I’ll never watch this TV show. Not only that. It’s a cop show, not an occult show, ergo, it’s NOT Penny Dreadful. It’s a shit version of The Wire with a side order of the arcane. I like some of the performances, but naming this Penny Dreadful is an outright fraud. I will say, though, that I’ve really enjoyed the dance scenes in this. They’re exuberant, boisterous and just plain fun. But, if you want to talk about SLOW, try American Clods, I mean, Gods. That’s a NO burn. Such eloquence and scholarship. You couldn’t be bothered to tell us what the themes are and how Spartacus did the better job? Just saying? What you are saying is not 1 damned thing. What are you dosing with? This series is a disgrace to Sherlock Holmes. It’s Holmes in name only. It’s Schlock Holmes. Its take on Dr. Watson, however, is pretty good. Jonny Lee Miller’s TV Sherlock mops the floor with this version. The problem is not RDJ. The problem is the script. Apples and oranges. They are 2 different genres and I admire them both. Goodfellas is a superb mobster movie. Pulp Fiction is existential, not criminal. It has crimes in it, but the focus is Marcus Wallace’s soul. Also, it uses an episodic narrative form, while Goodfellas is much more straightforward narrative style. Both films are in my library. Yes, because the OP has never seen every movie ever made, so “cliche” would be 1 description of the statement, and “ignorant” would be another. Y’see “all time” covers A LOT of time. Yeah, I know you don’t see. I’m having fun at your expense. And the OP is not winning any awards for grammar. Tiffany’s hot and has attitude. No wonder she won’t sleep with you. Apparently it is, though the OP couldn’t be bothered to specify that. Welcome to the Internet. Sybil Danning already did it: Howling 2: Your Sister Is A Werewolf; so, been there, done that. Also, the Ginger Snaps franchise. Also, Cursed. And, OP, your belief that the Stone project would be “even better than Wonder Woman” is based on what? Really, I want some reasons, ‘cause I can’t think of a damn thing that would make it even equal to Wonder Woman, one of THE best comic book movies ever, with a bravura and believable performance by Gal Gadot, versus mousey Emma Stone trying to be a wolf. And I LOVE werewolf movies. So, other than your hormones, what leads you to this conclusion? Pork Tartare, with a side of Fugu Sushi and a psilocybin mushroom salad with Absinthe dressing Rabid squirrel pie Kristin Stewart is built like a boy. Palmer is a woman. If you like boys, just admit it. And you could also get shot dead. I just watched the opening scenes of my favorite film, Conan the Barbarian, on streaming. Compared to watching it ON THE SAME SYSTEM on Blu-ray, it WW a like watching the shadows on Plato’s cave versus real life. As for the sound!? Forgitaboutit! Enjoy your convenience. Yeah, and streaming sounds better than vinyl, except that it doesn’t. Convenience has always won out over fidelity in the consumer entertainment media market. This is why, for example, the VHS tape format won out over Betamax. Most people have NO IDEA what quality audio and video fidelity can be. What??! To qoute Firesign Theater, Speak English, troupe! Or are you dead now? Then rot. Do you still eat your own boogers, OP?
