So did I. One of the best memories I have of my Dad (and there are many) was watching TV with him, with shows such as Combat, McHale's Navy, The Ed Sullivan show, etc. Okay...I get it...you are being funny! Neither Chaplin nor Hitler had a beard...they both had moustaches Beard? Because it is Science Fiction? I agree. Now with all the "social justice" out there, with black people saying things like "At last we have a black superhero!" (Black Panther). They seem to have forgotten black superheroes like Blade, Storm, Falcon, Luke Cage, etc. Being a white man, I do not have any true knowledge of what it is like to be black, and I personally believe that the black oppression that happened in this country (and other countries as well) was horrible. But, I also feel that it seems with all the racial tension that is still present, I fear we could be taking a step back, instead of forward, due to the militant extremists on both sides of the color issue who want the racial issue to continue, due to some hidden benefit they get out of it. I sometimes think that Martin Luther King would not be happy with some of the things going on in this country now that he worked so hard to change. Nope. As with my Old Man, he wanted to give his son what his father gave him for Christmas. The Old Man says that to the Mother after Ralphie gets the rifle and runs outside to try it out. Patricia Richardson, the actress who played Tim Allen's wife on "Home Improvement" appeared on "Last Man Standing", more as an inside joke to fans of "Home Improvement", and Jonathon Taylor Thomas appeared as her "son" as another nod to fans. She also said that her late husband used to blow stuff up while trying to fix things around the house, which was another nod to Tim's character on "Home Improvement". I don't know that television channel lineup where you live, but "Home Improvement" reruns still air on the "Laff" channel. Check it out if you are of a mind. The "wife-character" is actress Patricia Richardson, the "son character" is Jonathon Taylor Thomas, and yes, they were both on "Home Improvement", which I am assuming that you have never watched, or you would have gotten the joke sooner. The other two actors who played his sons were Zachery Ty Bryan and Taran Noah Smith. What are you, 15? Only a child would make an obviously statement like this. Then I suppose you NEVER had a bad thought? Jesus said it best "He who is without sin, cast the first stone" I thought it was a good film with a lot of heart No it didn't, "To Wong Foo" showed his comedic abilities He didn't have AIDS. He died of cancer I have an answer to this. Many (not all) comic book fans have short attention span. I agree with you. I posted a tribute to superhero films. You can read it here: https://moviechat.org/tt0848228/The-Avengers/58fba89ce0320b0011d9081e/My-Humble-Opinion Boy, you haven't seen many films have you? Have you seen "Plan Nine from Outer Space"? If you remember, Aquaman was very strong, very fast and nearly invulnerable also. He lifted the sub out of the water and took a grenade direct hit, and jokingly said "Owww!" Your opinion...not mine They may have been easy to kill, but as in the "Walking Dead" - one is no problem, but an army of them would be a BIG problem
