Ferry scene

Where was that supposed to be? They were traveling from New Jersey to Boston. I’ve driven that route but never had to take a ferry. It’s just I-95. Even backroads don’t lead to ferries.

The internet seems to consistently call this the Hudson Ferry scene. Would that make sense considering the route the family was on? I’m not familiar with the area. It was a freaky scary scene though.
