Being overdramatic and hatewatching. But honestly, the first episode was awful. Bad pacing, uninteresting characters, cheap looking sets, and poor color palet choices for sets and costumes.
In New Raccoon City, It looked like ikea exploded. In the future, it looked like bad color grading with cheap sets.
Then there are the stories. They're boring.
Right? I thought, Surely, it can't be that bad. Boy was I wrong. The CW has done so much better with low budget shows for so long.
It was so hard to get through even a single episode. Also, when you make you main characters so unlikable, people aren't gonna care.
I found myself rooting for the creatures to eat everyone. Couldn't find anyone to root for.
There is a positive. The lighting of the lickers was proper.
