there just wasn't enough there for her to redeem herself

I guess you do feel a little bad for her when she finds out the mistake he made, but come on. All it takes is for her to hypnotize his boss so the guy likes him more and all of a sudden he sees her differently? Please! She's still an absolute psycho with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Either they should have done a little more to make her look somewhat tolerable, or they should have ended it another way.

It's an over-the-top, silly comedy, so I didn't expect it to reflect what real people would do in the real world. The movie succeeded very well in accomplishing what it was intended to do.

Agreed, its a silly Sandler style comedy. That also needs to be pointed out. Yeah, she has a lot of faults, but she also shows that underneath it all she's this very skilled goofy person that i think he clearly needed in his life to push him to not be so uptight...yeah. it just worked for a comedy and in general.

What it needed was for David Spade to be his little more crazy self and a bit more funny, then you'd start to see maybe they can fit together in an odd, annoying way.
