For real, you can skip MI:2, and it becomes a great series to watch. I skipped it when introducing my kids.

shareI like the first film but you should know that it is pretty different from every other entry in the franchise.
For that matter, the second film is also different from every other film in the franchise. A lot of people hate it but I think it has its charms. It IS very different, though.
III-VII feel more like they are part of a cohesive series, with Fallout being the best one of that lot. So if you liked Dead Reckoning, you certainly should like Fallout.
If you didn't like one, then you'll hate every other film except for maybe Fallout. The first movie is the second best of the series.
shareNot true. I like all of the sequels more than the first movie except for MI II. The first film isn't bad by any means. An 8/10 for me. But the rest of the series just top it.
