So, about Gwen's dad...*spoilers*

Captain Stacy's initial reaction to finding out Gwen's masked identity was heartbreaking. The immense shock and disappointment, and how he thought his own daughter is a murderer. So intense. I'm glad that it did get patched up a bit at the end, though.

It really makes me wonder how Miles' parents would react if they found out his identity as Spider-Man. The movie kept playing with that moment, lol.

And we won't find out if he does tell his parents til the next movie.

It seemed immature of Captain Stacy to assume SpiderGirl had killed Peter Parker when there no evidence showing that. Even worse, he was actually going to arrest his daughter for the crime. He had to have known his daughter was no killer.

"He had to have known his daughter was no killer."

Yep.

It might have been pride. Thinking that he had to fulfill his sworn duty and oath as a cop and arrest the so called "killer", even if it's his own daughter.

Miles parents are like the best any child could expect to have so I think they'd love and support him if they found out he was spiderman.

Which makes the Tom Holland movies look even dumber lol. Aunt May is giving Tom Holland “high fives” like a sociopath who couldn’t care less for Peter. She might be the worst written character I’ve ever seen.
