The ship that drops from the sky

The ship is the USS Eldridge....the ship from the Philadelphia Experiment....

Nice catch! Felt like this easter egg came more naturally than the DB Cooper one.

Very cool. I tried to look at the side of the ship. Figured it was something like that.

What about that entire reality, though? Shouldn't the entirety of that alternate time stream be delivered to Alioth's dinner table? The void doesn't quite make sense.

I'm just rolling with it. I like the series, so I'll make excuses for anything that seems hard to make sense of. In this case, I am not sure how the process works. Is the timeline localized? I mean the whole universe being junked at the "end of time"? In any event, I assume a plane that might be of any extent, up to infinite (meaning you COULD junk the whole universe any number of times) with each dump being scattered, So the Eldridge might come down here while Antarctica drops in bits, here and there and the ruins of Seattle somewhere else. Lets assume the small furry things from Alpha Centauri fall in a totally different region. This whole business seems very Hitchhikers Guideish.

I like it too (mostly). But the writers should have had more than one meeting with each other.

Thank the gods they gave us a Loki who uses his sorcery, at least. Underpowering Loki has ever been my chief complaint.

And wasn't there also a S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarrier sitting in the dirt?

reply

I don't know if it was a SHIELD carrier, I do remember seeing a chopper that had THANOS on the tail.
