sharemake that 2022. Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Thor all have release dates for sequels. We know that GotG sequel is coming as well as Spider-man(in or out of the MCU). But it's all quiet on the Captain Marvel front. hmmm....

Kevin Feige can not possibly remain the single voice and the primary conductor of something as big as what has now become the MCU. The Netflix releases and the TV products were not as successful without some type of guiding hand. Sony realized it, Disney knows it and Feige has tried to set-up a workload release. James Gunn was to all set allegedly guide the next Phases of the MCU until he was fired. That also started a domino effect of pushing back schedules and upended whatever Saga plans were in place.
I don't believe that BP was intended for 2022 and BP's role seems to also have been diminished within the MCU and the Avengers proper. But those are the casualties of unparalleled success. Spider-Man being the face of the MCU was a reach and hopefully Disney/Marvel refocuses on some of the other heroes, ahem the FF for example as the possible new face of the MCU or whatever they choose to morph this endeavor into.
Captain Marvel, Black Panther are quickly becoming after thoughts and that is a shame.
