Good show with one glaring flaw

That flaw is lead actress Laura Haddock, she’s nice to look at sure, but her acting is nowhere near good enough for the character she plays, she has the same expression and tone in every single scene.

I do enjoy the show besides that though, funny characters and good story and Daniel Mays as Marcus totally steals the show, the actor who plays Boxer is also brilliant.

I'm not sure if it was her acting or the choices written for her character, but I get your point. I didn't like how she goes from someone who is love-struck over Boxer to seemingly hating him in an instant. That shift seemed sudden and forced with her character taking no responsibility for her actions at all.

A couple of the plot lines at the end didn't really seem to make sense to me, but overall, I really enjoyed the show and thought the acting was great.

I agree Marcus was my favorite character. The scene with the church procession of the Virgin Mary through the streets was freakin hilarious.
