I hope this place gets busy, I am actually excited for what Neil is trying to do!

I just now read about this, and it is looking sweet, sweet, sweet! Only MV players, OG writer, Neill Blomkamp directing, it oughta be pure honey fried gold, baby...

I hope it's rated R this time and not that kid friendly tame pg 13 crap they did with the sequels and the remake.

I'm glad this project recognizes the previous films, lending 'Returns' a sense of series continuity. Hopefully, this means new ideas can be explored without deconstructing already established 'ROBOCOP' premises like Murphy questioning what it means to be human, perhaps the most integral part of the franchise.

Only question is who plays Robocop? I know there was talk of doing a CGI Robocop with Weller in a mocap suit a la Josh Brolin / Thanos.

But apaprently, Weller has already said no. So who plays Robocop??? This could be the trickiest part of this sequel.

Depends on how much of the actor's face is going to show. Weller was able to emote so much emotion as the formidable "man" in blue despite view of his profile being hidden behind a visor, mouth and jaw only visible.
