I watched Pain and Glory (2019) today. This Oscar nominated drama is directed by the fantastic Pedro Almodóvar. It is about a film director, played by Antonio Banderas, reflecting on his past and his life. Banderas is excellent and earned a well deserved Oscar nomination for what may be his best ever performance. The film is beautifully shot and really well written. I rate Pain and Glory a high 9/10. Very highly recommended.

It was good and Antonio always puts on a great performance. Wish we would have seen him reunite with Eduardo though.

That's the rating I thought too.

Interesting story of a man who goes through a lot and gets to a bad place. The way back isn't straightforward at all. It has lots of twists and turns. But he stays with it. Beautiful story.
