Good Eye Candy

Although there is nothing original in this film, every shot is beautiful. Bay just makes everything look cool with his aerial shots, lens flare, stone cold lady in shiny sunglasses, and hair whispering in wind. As far as substance, not much here, and besides the car chase in the beginning and the jumper guy I didn't think the action was all that good. It was all just too fast. Reynolds is basically Deadpool without superpowers, throwing in his quick quips in between the bullets and explosions. Overall, it was OK, but just too predictable so there isn't any suspense. It's a turn your mind off and shovel that popcorn in type of film and there is nothing wrong with that.
