Well maybe she doesn't. She could be a typical Hollyweirdo in real life but she's a passable enough actress that we the audience at least deserve to see this quality female specimen in higher quality films instead of being wasted on low tier tripe like this

shareSeriously though, this is the kind of throaway role you give to hungry/desperate up and comer, willing to take whatever they can get, not an actress with 10+ years experience & is still very marketable based on her looks alone but can also act, given the right role. I don't know what producer she pissed off or refused to screw but that's really the only reason I can think of that she would be reduced to doing films like this.
shareShe really overplayed her role in this shitty movie. Then maybe it was the director's fault. But I never was impressed by her acting. And to tell the truth, I don't find her that amazing looking either. They only things she's got going for her are the color of her eyes and her boobs. Everything else is not standing out. Certainly not her acting.
I actually found Amy Forsyth to be the better actress in this.
At first, I thought the role of Alexis was written with Alexandra in mind due to the similar name. The director even claimed that she was the first to be cast.

She's had a couple of big roles, at least roles in recognizable IPs or big earners. Percy Jackson, Texas Chainsaw, Baywatch and San Andreas.
It just hasn't really sprungboard her into popular stardom and she's not got anything big for a good 5 years. She's one of the most crushed on celebs around and that's about it, people think she's hot but she's not box office gold. She's probably never gonna' be a big star at this point.
