The similarities of Jurassic World trilogy / Star Wars sequel trilogy

1st film: Same year 2015. Well received critically and with audiences. biggest box office in the new series and even bigger than previous films. Heavy nostalgia but also introduces new stuff/characters.

2nd film. Less well received (but the wokiest critics messed themselves over TLJ citing it greatest SW ever) audiences kind of shrug/disappointed. Same box office $1.3b worldwide. New edgy director seeks to 'subvert expectations'.

3rd film. Ridiculed by critics, audiences shrug (again) but still go Transformers/F&F style. But lowest box office of the 3 ($1b just). Director of 1st film comes back (curiously Trevorrow was also supposed to direct SW IX). Even more nostalgic than the 1st one. Brings back original villain

The original trilogies also mirrored one another abit (iconic first film/biggest box office, darker second film, disappointing third/retread of first)
