The power of woke warrior aside Linthorn lost mostly because the writers and directors.
1) When on the train he tried to push Tewkesbury off the train, which did not make sense because that won't kill the boy. You can say he was holding Tewkesbury to be crushed by tunnel. But that won't look like an accident, why not just stab Tewkesbury? Wouldn't that be easier? We know he has a knife in his leg.
2) The fight in the warehouse was a bit more realistic. Enola felt pain, narrowly escaped death. Though I still can't believe women's corset can stop a knife.
3) The fight in the house is more ridiculous. The man had a gun but not only he did not shoot the girl, he insisted to kill Tewkesbury with a string? Why? Because it is less efficient? With all the bullet holes on the property it won't look like suicide anyway. Wouldn't burglar with a gun made better story for the death of both?
