This show is hyper-violent, with violence to the level as found in some of the high-powered Asian crime films like The Raid.

Now, it is enjoyable and tolerable if one just sits back and suspends belief over the violence and gunplay.

Lot of characters to learn, but once that is done, the storylines are easier to follow.

Some people are criticizing the main Wallace character, but he's actually doing a good job.

shame but when binge watching it seems the same each episode black guy gets beat to hell then he recovers

The violence is trying to make up for the bad writing. If your average viewer has difficulties following the plot and knowing the characters, it's the writer's fault. And episode one was a shitshow. All violence, no clear exposition.

I'm loving it, but you're right about the violence. I've have to hide behind a cushion on a couple of occasions because I'm such a wuss.
