Had potential but..

Its suffering from the main guy must always win syndrome, the father keeps coming out on top, and there is way too many twists, seems one every episode.

Also the speedy recovery to almost normal seems unrealistic. Trying to give the impression I guess that a CEO's willpower can overcome human nature.

Actually, I was gonna say the show needs a twist in the worst way.

Kendall keeps trying for the crown and failing because he's a fuck up.
Logan is scum but can't be beaten. He plays Shiv and Roman against each other.

And then the secrets Greg was sitting on were built up to be the end-all/be-all and now it looks like they are going to play it off as nothing.

It felt like the show was about as good as anything on TV, but but he third season, it just feels like the same story(ies) being retread.

Something needs to shake it up in a big way and soon. Went from one of my favorites to almost a chore to watch now.

IMHO, this season kind of fell flat. Far too much time has been spent on the shareholder meeting crisis and not enough time on individual character narratives moving forward. Even all the attention given Kendall's personal revolt didn't seem to teach us more about Kendall.

Shiv and Tom's relationship seems frozen in time other than her relative indifference to Tom going to prison. Greg was kind of the low key hero in he first two seasons, but little of S3 seems to have been devoted to his character arc. Roman has gotten a lot of screen time, but that's about it.

This show was best when the corporate intrigue was kind of a background to their personal life dynamics. As corporate intrigue, it lacks verisimilitude to be the central narrative.

Yeah I didn't feel too many twists.

Kinda straight forward, a few fun shake ups.

Crazy life these people live.

I enjoy the series for its character study. I hear what you're saying about the plot line in general but I think the point at this stage is that the ultra rich don't evolve into better people. I have seen all four siblings present themselves with more flaws and ineptitude as we get into season 3 so there is definitely progression in developing their characters and we have seen that all of them are aloof and selfish pricks and are no different than their patriarch.

Interjecting some major twist like we see with 99% of TV dramas would ruin it for me. It's like taking a cue from Game of Thrones where you have Daenerys as the major force against the corruption that is the Royal Houses of Westeros and in this case making Kendall that type of character. Kendall is an idiot who is probably not even Logan's real son and we have seen him unravel so far this season. It's tragic but fascinating.
