Quite the achievement as PJ really fucked up with TH

What’s wrong with the Hobbit? I thought it was great.

Agreed, I think I actually liked TH films more than the LOTR films. Bilbo is just a better character than Frodo.

RoP is alright too, I kind of liked it. I thought it was a pretty good intro for TH and LOTR movies.

I might even suggest that newbies watch them all in order. Of course, RoP is not over yet. Who knows how many seasons we're going to get. Any official word on how many seasons there's going to be?

There is supposed to be 5 seasons. So it will be a while before someone can get to the Hobbit if you watch them chronologically.

It was overlong, it should've been cut into 1 film, 2 films at most.

It was a cash grab for sure. I'd like to believe that Jackson tried his best but, ultimately, they had to add too much to turn this into 3 movies and their own stuff was filled with every possible movie cliche.

The second movie was the best and most LOTR-like.
