What's the deal with the lack of availability of this film?

The only way I can watch it is if I buy it at full price. Can't rent, can't stream yet other A24 movies do not suffer from this problem. What gives?

There is no problem.

If you have a vpn then go to British youtube. It's half price at less than £4, So about $6. That's to buy it, it's cheaper to rent.
