Why is Spike Lee so obsessed with white people?

If you look at his filmography, it's obviously he is 100% obsessed with white people. They are his boogeyman. It's just a total obsession with white folks and how evil he apparently believes them to be.

From Do the Right Thing to Malcolm X to Bamboozled to BlacKkKlansman, it's largely just a rehash of the same message: White people are bad and are always out to hold the black man down.

He's got a 1960s mentality in 2018. C'mon Spike, we're living in the age where The Rock is highest paid actor in Hollywood and before that it was Will Smith!

He did do Chi-Raq (2015) about violence in Chicago.

That's not the message I've been getting. Do The Right Thing broached the subject of black racism and how other races besides black and white get caught in the crossfire. Bamboozled implicitly criticised aspects of black culture, Mo' Better Blues shows us some very nasty black-on-black violence and self-destructive behaviour (although there are a couple of greedy white nightclub owners too). As far as I remember there was only one white character in Crooklyn. It seems like you're just seeing what you want to see.

Victim mentality.
