Funny moment in S3

They are all sitting around watching TV, watching the movie diner,
and Paul Reiser who plays Martin, fiance to Michael Douglas's daughter
in the show is in that movie is both in the show and in the TV scene.

This is a wonderful show ... it is sad that no one seems to be watching
it or commenting on it.

"Every morning from 7:30 to 7:45" got the biggest laugh from me 😄, but still a pretty entertaining season throughout. I just thought it was too short! And as if the writers weren't sure what they wanted to say with it.

But it should definitely have been 8 episodes like the first two seasons. It felt truncated to me.

Yeah ... it was too short. I really loved this series. It was funny. It was dramatic. It was human ... and it was very smart writing, acting and directing. I really think this was the best thing Michael Douglas has been in.

All the amazing stars, and I really got a kick out of seeing Kathleen Turner in the ex-wife role.

What was the "Every morning from 7:30 to 7:45" line.

Did you notice the scene when they are watching "Diner" where Paul Reiser is in the video and the scene as well.

I missed Alan Arkin. Also, the daughter and grandson parts were kind of reduced to nothing.

I was anticipating this since the end of the last season, I never thought it would be so funny.

During Norman's eulogy his lover was talking about their sex sessions every Wednesday and Sunday from 7:30 to 7:45.

Yeah, that whole story line with the daughter and the grandson should have been better developed, as well as the character of Estelle.

Oh ... Jane Seymour's eulogy was bizarre.
I think they kind of trashed her character, along with some of the other we've mentioned.
Yeah, the first two seasons could hardly have been better.
This was a bit of a disappointment, but it was funny, and I liked it, and was just glad they did it.

Oh, also the movie that made Sandy a star in his old age - I wish they did more about that, and perhaps showed parts of his Emmy-nominated (and winning) performance.

Don't know if you ever watched Get Shorty (the series), but there was a gay guy there who started as an errand boy at the studio (or something along those lines), and then sat in at a table-read I think accidentally, like filling in for someone absent that day, and ended up getting the lead role because he demonstrated that he was just that good.

We never see anything like that with Sandy. You know how they say that in art you are supposed to show, not tell - well, we the audience were definitely told the whole thing, none of it was shown.

I think they just bit off too much to do in 6 episodes.

I noticed the kid who plays Jude, the blonde acting student is pretty good. He stars as the boyfriend of the main Asperger's star's sister in the series Atypical which is pretty good. Graham Rogers is his name.

I don't think I've seen any of the others. I was watching Atypical thinking ... that guy looks familiar.

That Diner scene directed by....Barry Levinson...😂
