I don't think the aftermath is stipulated in the stated rules, OR maybe the 'anything' meant 'you can do anything ABOUT/TO the fly after you catch it'?
Too bad we never saw Daniel teleport, multilocate, travel back in time, turn things invisible, end wars and hunger.. for someone that can do -anything-, I mean.
I don't even want to ask what kind of mind conjures up questions about 'eating a fly' - never in my life have I had such a thought, that's so disgusting.
