Where Can I Find This Show?

Where is this available? I’ve got every premium channel, except for adult, including Netflix, Epix and Streampix. Is this on Amazon Prime or some such? None of my searches is finding it. Hanna, the movie, is one of my favorites, hence my curiosity. I’m suspicious about how impressed I’ll be. Marissa was deader than dead at the end of the movie. If this series disses the movie, it’s not for me. Still, I’d like to have a look. Thank you.

Amazon Prime. I think the first ep just went up a few hours ago.

It's on Amazon Prime, the first episode is pretty much rehashing the first part of the movie when she was taken from a hospital her mother was killed and she was raised by her father... alot of it is the same as the movie complete with her killing a deer. But honestly the show is boring. Maybe in part because when you've seen the movie there is little you don't know is about to happen... but also because the pacing is just too slow. Think about it the movie pretty much showed everything in the first episode in less than 20 minutes and yet this thing is stretched out to an hour. I don't know if I'll even be able to watch the next episode its so slow and boring.

thomas, thank you so much for this info. I’ve an Amazon Prime trial membership, but I don’t see the value in keeping it for my usage patterns. The pacing in the movie, even the “slow” bits (with the British family on holiday) was outstanding. I think this is a pass for me. It’s always a pleasure to meet another Action fan. If you’re not already familiar with it, let me recommend the completed Cinemax series, Banshee, to you.

You should watch it and form your own opinion. I just got done with the first episode and enjoyed it.

I liked the original movie a lot and this show seems to be doing it justice so far, I think. It's going to be interesting to see in coming episodes exactly how they expand the film's story into an entire series.

I enjoyed it.

A lot of it echoes the movie, yes, but some of it was different as well. And considering the fact that they are adapting a two hour movie in an entire series, you know the story will have to continue to diverge in some significant ways even if the basic structure is the same.

I'd definitely say it's one of the more interesting shows I've seen in recent months and I'm a little irritated that I have to wait until March to see more of it.

Will there be anywhere to watch it other than Amazon Prime? Because I don't have that.

You can also watch the first episode for free at the time that I'm posting this... depending on where you are obviously.
