My goodness, what a waste of time. I knew they’d allotted too much time for this. They could have sliced 1 1/2 to 2 hours off it and given us something that’s closer to satisfying. The finale took FOREVER, and was duller than a Public Service Announcement. An hour and a half?! That’s Game of Thrones/Westworld SPECIAL EVENT runtime, not Ben Stiller Goes To Crime Drama Film School runtime. As much of a cheat as Episode 6 might have been—withholding the info about what real scum the three protagonists were—I think we all would have stopped watching had we not become so invested in the story. Shame—and sham!—on Showtime for foisting this off on us.

PS Much of the acting was really good, but it was ill-served by the script.

Wholeheartedly agree, especially on your comment of "Ben Stiller Goes To Crime Drama Film School." Yeah, he won an Emmy, but that just shows the populist bias of Emmy voters.

The endless, dull scenes of the night work on the tunnel were boring, and who in the world thinks it’s a good idea to have such long scenes with piss poor lighting? Yawn.

This series could have been so much better.
