History has picked up the Robert Zemeckis-produced UFO drama “Project Blue Book” for a 10-episode second season, the network announced on Sunday.

The first few episodes have averaged a total of 3.4 million viewers for History, with three days of delayed viewing factored in.

I'm not sure what kind of numbers the History Channel usually does for their programming but 3.4 million sounds pretty good for a cable channel.

Good news! I'm really liking this show. Good drama based on some real happenings, usually explainable but I wonder where it will go as we see scenes of what look like alien craft and beings. Perhaps into more of a sci-fi story than historical? Which will still be a good show no mater what direction they go in.

Good to hear it's getting a second season. It's a good drama, mix of real life events and fictional to add to the drama and intrigue of it. Such as the scene where they had a small UFO in a hangar.
