So Creed and his wife had no friends at all??

They have a baby and the only people we see is Rocky and his mother. I found that very weird.

I'm sure they did but I guess there's no room in the budget right now for additional stuff like that within the stories they write.

They were hanging out with their friends

It's a common typical movie thing: the only friends that characters seem to have are the ones (usually one or two) that are important for the plot.

Given that Creed is something a black hero, he would most likely have a MASSIVE entourage. Hell, he'd probably have Obama at his house parties.
