So has there been any comments about showing diversity in this film

So, is there at least any credible evidence that they cast her to express their diversity opinions? Also I haven't any of the remakes yet, has this been an ongoing thing in previous ones?

reply

Disney said all their movies going forward will have 50% LGBT and minority representation.

reply

WHICH MEANS HALF OF ALL CHARACTERS AT THE VERY LEAST WILL BE STRAIGHT WHITE ACTORS...WIN/WIN.

reply

Imagine thinking that making filling casting diversity quotas a requirement to do a film is a "win".

reply

THE WORLD I LIVE IN IS VERY DIVERSE...FILMS REPRESENTING THAT IS A GOOD THING...SO YES A WIN...EAT IT,HATER.😘

reply

NOT EVERY FILM IS MEANT TO REPRESENT THE CURRENT ETHIC/GENDER/SEXUAL COMPOSITION OF THE WORLD.

To force that on creators is the death of art.

reply

Well I won't be watching 100% of them but to be fair I wouldn't watch them if it was all straight white people either because Hollywood is garbage.

reply

Hollywood is indeed garbage but they have a monopoly on entertainment.

“According to an insider via CNN, the new wave of representation in the studio's films (from Ariel being a black woman, Halle Bailey, to making Captain America a black man, Anthony Mackie) is a hoax.”
