Should Lois know Clark is Superman?

Be in an open relationship like DCEU or secret secret keeper who hasn't told him she knows and is waiting for him to admit it.

reply

Nope. They got married on Earth-2, but in regular continuity she shouldn't know, just as it was for 50 years.

reply

Actually she has know his identity for like 25-30 years now and have been married since the mid 90's.

reply

Which reboot? Nothing after 1986 counts.

reply

Everything after 1986 counts, when doing a new movie or TV show you have to go with the newer approach because fans who are twenty are gonna think "how is the Superman today?", they're not gonna do a version that's decades behind to how they're portraying the characters.

reply

Nope. COIE screwed up the comics, and they've been re-setting them every 5 years to try to get back to where they were before. There's a reason the old stories are the favorite ones. Modern Marvel and DC comics are an utter failure.

reply

Shut up

reply

Ah, the last recourse of the intellectually stunted. No wonder you like modern comics.

reply

I wish it wasn't true, but COIE really did suck all the hope and optimism from DC, it's been all PTSD since. The later gimmicky "summer crossovers" shat the bed even further.

Dark and anguished can and does work with Batman, but as a general mood for stories it's hopelessly depressing. Pointing out that it's not an S but a symbol of hope is largely meaningless in recent years.

reply

I don't see a version now where you can have Lois not find out and have them as the same couple as they were in the Christopher Reeve movies or TAS.

reply

Be like Robbie Robertson in Spiderman 2 when he looks at Peter and saids "I heard Spiderman was there".
