I would love to see somebody do an upbeat, throwback [take on Superman]. I love the Henry Cavill dark and gritty take, but I would love to see the next one be very bright and optimistic.”
Could work even if he's isn't well known like both Reeve and Cavill and he looks the part, all has to do is bulk up and he's all set

An unknown or a young up and coming actor for Superman has been the route for years because having somebody too famous could be very distracting especially if they're associated with something else it's why you never have someone like Tom Cruise cast as Captain America or Thor.
Would be time for a new actor in a few years. Matt Reeves' Batman is sort of evidence that a reboot of Superman is coming.

shareHe's certainly tall enough. I think Oliver Jackson-Cohen could be good too, but he's probably too much a out-of-left field choice. Matt Bomer would had been great if they didn't choose Cavill at the time.
