Gloria's progression throughout the movie was nicely done. She turned into a bad ass, but it wasn't over-the-top to "Rambo" status. She just did what she had to do: Ingeniously survive a bad situation. She pretty much outsmarted everyone. I enjoyed her character and would like to see a 2nd one.

Think I'll watch the original to see if it was better than this one.

me too. Helluva character arc. Not to mention Gina Rodriguez's beautiful face and mouth and eyes. Damn.

I agree 100%. Exciting movie. I'm going to watch the first one too.
