Hot Damn. That OJ doc was one of the best i've ever seen. Wasn't just about OJ but the whole history of the times he lived in.

Anything like the OJ FX series, or completely different? I like dramatizations better than straight documentaries, though Steven Avery was damn good.

reply

Couldn't tell ya, never watched it. But i'm guessing very different. This was all interviews and actual footage and they even showed all the real crime scene stuff. Pretty disturbing. Got very in depth about OJ's early career and completely broke down the psychology of who OJ was and two different worlds he straddled.

Just watched it last night. Very disappointing. The animation was amazing, I couldn't believe how good it looked. But the story, the songs, meh is the word.

Personally, I loved Moana. Really entertaining and beautiful.

Congrats Arrival for sound editing. Easily one of the most annoying, loud noisy movies I ever sat through. You earned it.

Supporting actress coming up. At the risk of being completely wrong, I am going to predict Viola Davis.

I haven't seen Moonlight yet, but that one scene they just played with Naomie is RIVETING. What a transformation, it reminds me of Charlize Theron in Monster.
It's on my netflix queue now and i can't wait to see it.
