Hmm rating soso, anyone seen it?

I like military movies but with a rating like this I am a bit put off. It ain't no Angel Has Fallen quality it seems.

I gave it a 6/10 which is right on par with its IMDB rating. There were some decent performances and some cool scenes. A couple parts that were somewhat tense. I would say if you can view it for free or spend a couple bucks streaming it at home it’s worth the watch. Probably not worth spending $25 seeing it in theaters though.

Kinda funny how this came out on a similar time as The Covenant. Reminds me of White House Down and Olympus Has Fallen releases. Similar story and bonding moments but Kandahar had subpar action scenes. The biggest one was using Hellfire from a Reaper that could magically take out 15+ vehicles.

I watched The Covenant a few weeks after Kandahar. I much preferred Covenant. I think it bested Kandahar in every category.

I gave it 9/10! its a very good movie.

I gave it a 4/10.

Starts OK, but then it just drags on and on. Action scenes aren't very memorable and it doesn't help its so similar to The Covenant which was just released a month before it.
