Makes no sense?

The Rotten Tomatoes rating by critics is 92%. But the audience rating is 52%
I saw this movie and I question. Are audiences getting dumber?

This gives me The Last Jedi type vibes. The critics RT rating is quite high at 91% while the audience's rating is poor at 43%. I remember when that movie came out fanboys were mad about the good reviews haha.
