Could 'D' be one of Chance's split personalities?

Not sure why, but I'm thinking there's going to be some sort of mind-screw twist. Here's my guess as to what it could be:

Chance has multiple personalities, and 'D' and possibly Jaclyn are those personalities manifested.

I had a buddy suggest it recently so I haven't been able to watch closely to dispute it. And something about it rang strangely true for some reason. The whole thing about D not being able to drive (hmmm?) and Jaclyn's whole weird situation in general.

I'm sure I'm probably wrong but wanted to see what people think the big twisty-twist could wind up being.

Jacylyn / Jackie is also real outside of Chance's physical self, since one of Chance's colleagues (Suzanne) works her case and wouldn't in professional good taste, entertain another psychiatrist with the delusion his split personality is another person.

This show is no Mr Robot, but as some have said, i must mention how freakin blown away i'm by D's performance, i mean last time i saw the dude it was in My name is Earl 😨
It's not often u get to see actors so far from their "comfort zone" act so good.

Apart from the whole Chance/Jaclyn/Evil Jaclyn thing that is way too dragged on to my taste, i love what they were able to pull off with this series, rarely have i seen a book adaptation that actually feels like i'm reading a superb suspense/mystery/thriller novel. Kudos... (now that i think of it that other recent show with Hugh Laurie, The night manager was of the same mettle, dude knows how to pick his shows, & it's real nice to see literature skillfully adapted to the little screen.

i definitely thought about that several times during watching. it kinda fits in to the scenario and also makes me wonder why one of the personalities always has to be large bold guy? although in the end, D happened to have separate dramatic story line. he is not personality of anyone. he is his own person with enough of his own problems

What is the evidence for that ... I cannot think of any.
