Awesome? Tonya is a despicable pile of trailer park shit. She's been playing the victim hoping there would be enough dim-witted dolts to believe her blubbering stinking pile of crap. Apparently she's right. Congratulations.

The perfect patron saint for today's narcissistic generation.

I can honestly say that if you're life was half as rich and fulfilling as my "sad" life, you'd have done well. One of the reasons my life is so fulfilling is that I've surrounded myself with others with a real moral compass, either by design (wife, friends) or through my my gentle efforts (my kids).

But I draw a limit as to what is acceptable behavior, and folks like Harding, Simpson, Cosby, Polanski, etc. deserve no acceptance from decent people, that is, not until they've owned their crimes and paid their dues.

I don't need to see a propaganda piece to sway my judgement of someone as the facts are known and have been for years.

So Tonya calls us "haters"? I'm sure Polanski, O.J. Simpson and the rest think that way also. Does she really think we give two shits what this stinking pile of trailer park trash thinks of us?

reply

[deleted]

Please. I called her trailer trash because that's what she is. Simpson is a murderer, Cosby a pervert, and Polanski is a child rapist. Unlike many people these days, I live a moral life, demand the same from others, and at least to have the courage to call them what they are.

I have forgiveness to give for those who admit their crimes and do the time or in some other way mitigate the damage they've caused.

As for the term "haters", that's a word the feeble minded use because they can't win an argument with facts, so using a dismissive term is something they feel will do the job instead.

It doesn't..

That was not a mistake that Tonya Harding made years ago, with regards to the attack on Nancy Kerrigan. Tonya Harding knew exactly what she was doing, and she made a rather stupid, half-hearted apology: "I'm sorry I was involved with the wrong people, and I'm sorry for being in the wrong place at the wrong time." Come on now! What the hell kind of an apology was that?

It wasn't an apology, as far as I'm concerned, and I stand by all I've said here.

reply

[deleted]

That's still not really an apology, dash1729. It would've been one thing if Tonya had been more direct in her apology and said that she was sorry to have been involved in an incident that hurt Nancy.

Also, dash1729, Tonya did know that the attack on Nancy Kerrigan was about to go down, and she made no effort to stop it. That she admitted to, as well. As I also said, Tonya was an abettor and an accessory to a crime, and the fact that she knowingly obstructed the investigation and prosecution of Gillooly and his henchmen was a crime in itself. She paid for it with the loss of a very promising figure-skating career, and well she should've.

reply

[deleted]

Sorry, dash1729, but there are so many inconsistencies in Tonya's story, and she's so shifty-eyed during her interviews, and she seems so insincere, that I don't see any reason to believe or trust her.

reply

Wow, you like to back the wrong horses...

Because the Polanski's victim forgave him means he's not a child rapist??? He's now been accused by five women, one a 10 year old child at the time. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2017/oct/23/roman-polanski-marianne-barnard-allegations

I'm a black man, and will say only a complete fool would believe O.J. Simpson didn't kill those two people. And BTW, he was found liable for their deaths in a civil suit.

Tonya is not a "pretty awesome" human being; she's a remorseless piece of shit. Josef Goebbels knew how propaganda would affect the masses, and he would have been proud of "I Tonya"...

Please don't ever have children... ever.

reply

I have to disagree with you here, dash1729. The fact that Tonya Harding is disliked so intensely by so many people has absolutely nothing what.so.ever to do with her class background, and the fact that she's poor.

The fact remains that Tonya was not only an accessory and an abettor to a crime (i. e. not reporting what she knew about the (up)coming attack on Nancy Kerrigan, and also dispensing information about the name, address and phone number of the ice-skating rink (in Dennis, Ma, which is on the Cape) where Nancy Kerrigan regularly practiced to Nancy Kerrigan's attackers, who'd planned to attack Nancy Kerrigan at the Tony Kent Rink down in Dennis, MA, where Nancy regularly practiced her ice skating), but Tonya Harding also committed a crime herself; obstructing the investigation and prosecution of Jeff Gillooly and his henchmen. Those two things together helped wreck Tonya Harding's promising figure-skating career, and well they should've.

It's disgusting that Tonya Harding not only continues to deny her involvement with the sordid attack on Nancy Kerrigan and refuses to accept responsibility for her own actions and behaviors, and continues to cultivate the attitude that it's never her fault, but she has the nerve to go on television and on "Dancing Stars" to constantly blurt all that out to anybody who'll watch it, and believe in all the bullshit that Tonya regularly spouts off every day.

reply

Bravo mplo.. Bravo.

Thank you, strntz.

Come on now, dash1729! Tonya Harding knew exactly what she was doing. The country's top hand-writing expert traced the hand-written information regarding the name, address and phone number of the ice-skating rink where Nancy Kerrigan regularly practiced to Tonya Harding. She knew its real purpose. Don't kid yourself.

reply

Some people watched this fictional movie and can't separate fiction from reality. I hardly think that Tonya is the first criminal to spin circumstances to push the blame off herself.

Could anyone really be surprised that someone with Tonya's lack of character would actually stoop to lying?

reply

It's not surprising that Tonya Harding's a consummate liar. Not withstanding her overall character, it's obvious that she's a liar, first because she keeps changing her story, and secondly, she looks quite shifty-eyed during the interviews that she's had. She has a long history of fabricating stories, as well.

Tonya also fabricated a story about her having been abducted and then crashed her truck into a tree so she could get away, and also about seeing a strange man skulking around her house one night.

The idea that Tonya Harding could've simply crashed her truck into a tree and was then able to run away is total bunk. There's no way she could've crashed her truck, into a tree, without being badly hurt, or even killed.

reply

[deleted]

Really?? So what if Tonya did run her car into a ditch rather than a tree while she was DUI? DUI is still DUI, whether someone crashes his/her vehicle into a tree or careens their vehicle into a ditch. Tonya Harding was not a juvenile when she pulled this crap. She was an adult, and more than old enough to know better. She did get arrested for it, and it's more than likely a permanent mark on her record. She failed to remember that once somebody is over 18, any arrest(s) will permanently go on their record.

Dash1729, I stand by everything I've said about Tonya Harding.

reply

No, dash1729.

Tonya Harding DID fabricate a story about being abducted and then running her truck into a tree. My point here is that this is a story that Tonya Harding just fabricated.

reply

[deleted]

I don't know about the idea that it wasn't fabricated, dash1729. She is known for lying so much that she's not believed anymore.

Tonya was allowed to compete in Lillehammer, Norway, because she'd threatened the IOC (International Olympics Committee) with a 25-million-dollar lawsuit, which the IOC didn't want to have to deal with, so they backed down and let Tonya Harding go to Lillehammer to participate in the competition in the winter of 1994.

Maybe if she'd just accepted her initial punishment and stayed home from Lillehammer, like she was supposed to do, her ban from the USFSA wouldn't have been as long as it had. either.

[deleted]

Can you see what you are writing? "It was actually her book...that shaped my view of Tonya's career and the case."

Yes, let's take the word of the perp instead of witnesses and known facts. I guess if you read Cosby's book you'll believe his spin. Just don't take a beverage if he offers you one...

reply

she was awsome in her sex video.

reply

[deleted]

Tonya's the one who married Jeff Gillooly and into all the problems. She's not an innocent person.

reply

Didn't stop any one from watching. Nor the kardashian tape or the paris hilton "Private" (yea right) tapes.

reply

I don't watch the Kardashian tape or the Paris Hilton "Private" tapes, either.

reply

Good thing too. Paris infrared pupil reflection is creepy and will keep you up at night.

reply

Paris Hilton vs. Tonya Harding: One's just as disgusting as the other, as far as I'm concerned.

reply

Tonya Harding was not a minor at the time that video came out, however. She was a consenting adult. Gillooly is a scumbag, but so's Tony Harding, to boot.
