Comes across as too "Try-hard" for Cooper

I found Leonard's portrayal a bit overwrought. Not much of a script beyond some drunk-babbling and lamenting from Leonard. If I was the Bernstein estate I don't think I'd think I'd be too thrilled.

Did you see all the producing credits Bradley had?? Good lord did he and Spielberg put some money into this. Not to mention he directed. This movie was made solely get Bradley some Oscar...*any* Oscar - and that's it. The best scene is at the end where he is conducting in the church. That was brilliant. Too bad Mulligan out-shined him in every scene because Bradley was too lost in his Bernstein-isms.

Doesn't matter anyway. Giamatti will and should win.

Yes, he came across as trying way too hard. That gaudy way of speaking, and the mannerisms.....just seemed forced, like he was doing a caricature or parody.

And ever since that movie premiered....Bradley has looked a lot less like the BC of The Hangover, and more like present day Barry Manilow. C'mon Bradley....get back to what made you cool. Get your groove back, and quite trying to be such a thespian.

I’m sure he appreciates your career advice.
