Well, she didn't kill herself¡

And where is her body??

reply

Her body was cremated and some bones were found in multiple places.

Nobody claims she killed herself but there are still suspects other than Avery and Dassey.

reply

the bone evidence is currently being disputed, and they were very small fragments, she couldn't have been cremated where the prosecution said she was cremated, it is physically impossible, so where was she cremated??

reply

No, I completely agree, I don't believe it was her bones at all. As experts have said it would be impossible for her to be cremated to that extent (The way the prosecutors claimed it happened anyway).

However, I do believe her body would have been burned and probably to an extent that it would be hard to find her remains, wherever they may be.

There are at least 3 obvious suspects.

Especially the ex-boyfriend who we now know lied at least once about the broken turn signal on the RAV4. He mysteriously moved into Teresa's apartment after her disappearance where he had access to all her belongings. He was in possession of her planner while we know she wrote on it shortly before being murdered. He was also talking to the cops on the phone as he was searching the salvage yard right before the RAV4 was found.

I personally find it strange that he lead the search for Teresa. There has been many cases where murderers took pro-active roles in the search of their victim thinking it would reduce suspicion.

reply

would he have known where the avery salvage yard was?? I must say both documentaries are rather convoluted and confusing.

reply

Teresa didn't live that far away from the salvage yard, right? So it does seem possible that he'd know where it was.
Anyway, it seems as though she was murdered after she left Avery's, so it may not have not have even been near it.

reply

We don't know that he lied about it. Zellner was very misleading in this, but if you look at the document they show, what he actually said was he checked with her friends and family, and concluded the damage to the turn light had been done prior to her murder, and that she'd filed an insurance claim (which is now disproven).

Teresa's roommate was RH's best friend, and his ex-girlfriend had been murdered. He moved into the house temporarily. Not so mysterious.

I do find it a problem that he had that page from her planner, when she'd written in it while she was on the road that day. How did he get it??

I don't have a problem with his talking on the phone to LE while he was searching the yard, or that he ended up leading the search for Teresa or her car. I do have a problem that he wasn't asked for an alibi.

reply

such a strange case, kinda reminds me of that murder subplot in HBO's Six Feet Under, I think the truth is closer to home than any one can imagine.

reply

"Well, she didn't kill herself!"

This reminds me of all the cop movies and tv shows where the cop yells at the suspect, "well, if you didn't kill her, who did?!" as if not having that information automatically means the guy is guilty.
