Millennials in the 4th millenium still?

OMG, the end of 4.1 was JUST ridiculous. Burnham: "I don't really want the job anyway but I want you to want me to take the job and liiiiike me" FFS, you have a job you love, just STFU and get on with it. Not everyone MUST think you're god's gift to the universe - and BTW they won't no matter what you do or how good you are. Could you see ANY other captain in Star Trek history whining like that? Seasons 1 and 2 were OK with some interesting characters/concepts. Season 3 was pretty awful and stupid but I really hoped it would get better, but pretty sure I'm done now.

Can't they just put this F-ing series out of its misery for once? Nobody likes this show and it's weapons-grade bullshit from start to finish.

Just to be picky, Discovery does not take place in the 33rd millennium. It takes place in the 4th millennium AD or CE, depending on your preference of nomenclature. A millennium is 1,000 years.

fixed it. I guess it just *seems* like I've been watching the show that long! :^DDD
