6.5 seems like quite a low score for this movie.

It had a real dreary tone to it which I thought was good, but it went a bit too far with and just got too long winded for mine. Actually I think the movie lost its direction at times and maybe that can be put down to inexperience on Kevin Phillips' behalf.

People hate ambiguous endings.

It's a reasonable score, it is poorly plotted, the script is uneven and the character arcs are nonsensical. Each time it threatens to be interesting, it gets gun shy and falls back on tired, familiar cliches. What elevates it to an above average score are the performances, Tahan and Campbell are brilliant.
