Ian Malcolm's speech at the hearing. What a whiner

I think that Malcolm shouldve just kept his mouth shut where he was ranting and raving about what exactly anyway?

reply

He was against Jurassic Park from the start, if you hadn't noticed.

He was very consistent with his views of Jurassic Park and recreating dinosaurs. They were atrocities against nature, and would only lead to disaster. He was arguing that we should make no attempts to rescue any of the animals on the island, and if an act of God, like a Volcano erupting, is going to destroy the island, then that is just nature self correcting.

reply

There was no 'ranting and raving'.
As other people have mentioned, he was against the whole idea from the very beginning due to the potential and eventual ramifications.

I actually like that fact they added his part because it's adding to the realisation that you cannot and will not played god successfully. And like he said, nature will always find a way.

And he hates being right all the time.
