I can never understand why celebrities would complain about paparazzi and then constantly fuel press

After divorce Diana could live quiet life. And she would be left alone eventually. But she kept having love affairs, vacationing in her swimsuit on yachts, going around and living public life.
Kept coming to Paris to have dinner and live in richest hotels where there would be full on press attention.

Like she could come to dinner to German city or Swedish one where there would be less paparazzi. But it had to be Paris. It had to be St. Tropez. France where paps were on speed dial. Then was all like: " Oh My Gad. All those paparazzi just won't live me alone".

They would not live her alone because she kept fueling them. It was proved once and for all that celebrities CAN live undercover and be not bothered when they want to. When Lindsay Lohan simply left Los Angeles and New York and relocated to Europe. Not showing up to parties and not wondering around London - she was left alone immediately. And quickly forgotten.

Britney Spears could do the same in 2000-2007. Just move out of LA and no one will run for you. Since every city on earth doesnt have army of paps who would follow you everywhere.

Even now when Harry and Meghan don't show up at events - we don't see their pap shots.

Did it ever occur to you she want paparazzi?

Like mother like son, her son is doing the same thing: complaint about privacy but keep attracting paparazzi.

I know it. But there is obviously lots of Diana fans out there who still think she was chased for no reason. And Hollywood keeps portraying her as some saint victim. They very well showed on S6 Ep 3 in her death episode how she was constantly surrounded by paps whenever she went and that's why she died - because they were speeding away from them.

All while coming to freaking Paris of all places. Staying in richest and poshest hotel, surrounded by paps. When they could just fly to any other country where pap culture did not exist. But she had to chill and go to the most posh cities in the world to richest places. Because she loved rich posh royal life.

If she would be left alone by press to live quiet simple life - she would be bored and cry for attention.Because she was narcissist. Celebs whine about press attention and then cry and want it back when they get old and no one is interested in them anymore.

There was glorious take from Taylor Lautner.
"He revealed the fear that gripped him when facing the public eye at the height of the Twilight mania. "I went so many years either not leaving my house," he admitted, "or if I did, hat, sunglasses, and just like, scared. However, Taylor revealed that very same frustration led to conflicting feelings when the fame started to fade after the Twilight era began to die down.
"When that's taken away from you at all, you start to question yourself and start to be like, 'Oh, do people not care about me anymore?'" he said. "It goes away a little bit. You notice it, and that's the dangerous part, because that can really mess with your mind.""

If all those paps and press would vanish - Diana would start missing them immediately. So don't feel sorry for those celebs.

Some say it was Dodi's idea to shun the Paparazzi. Which is utterly baffling because he and Di had been photographed countless times before. Another few photos wouldn't have made a difference. Ultimately, the driver is to blame for speeding and driving under the influence. And they all should have buckled up.

I agree to some extent, that is the price of fame. The paparazzi will be all over you and every celebrity should know this by now. Even back in Diana's day, it should have been well known.

That being said, celebs are still entitled to some freedoms. Just because there are people around you with cameras doesn't mean you shouldn't go anywhere. So Emori, you would stay home all day and allow them to dictate where you travel?

In my opinion, I wouldn't care that much if they were all over me. I'm sure it would get annoying but looking on the bright-side, having cameras around all the time would also ensure your security.

No one is going to try to harm you when cameras are everywhere. At least, that's my opinion on it. I would view them as my security team that I don't have to pay for. lol....

Okay, I know that's sounds ridiculous but still.... I suppose it wouldn't bother me that much to have them following me all the time.
