Lived up to the hype!

WOO HOO, Im in!!!!

Lived up to my hype, that’s for sure. Well, to be frank, in view of the mixed reception it received, I didn’t go in with high expectations. Even so, I knew I was going to have a fun time with this one (I couldn’t get enough of the trailer). Lo and behold, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time!

Those who said it lacked the thrills a shark movie should have, I couldn’t disagree. To me this is by far one of the most thrilling and solid shark movies I’ve ever seen. It’s difficult to come up with a top 5 shark movies of all time list (there’s a myriad of them out there, yet very few good ones), but for me “The Meg” is hands down one of the finer ones. Completely entertaining from start to finish, appropriately ridiculous, unpredictable at times, its cast is great (they give genuinely good performances), and it is pleasingly well-shot; its visuals are surprisingly nice.

All in all, this a killer flick! It’s the definition of popcorn fun. I would without hesistation see it again on the big screen — and on Dolby Cinema which is simply the perfect format for this movie.

Agreed..went to see it today, definitely got my moneys worth
