Watched it without knowing ANYTHING about it.

When I watched this movie, I had no idea what it was about. So you can imagine my UTTER SHOCK when she kills herself on air. I just sat there thinking ...W....T.....F ........Wait.... what...err.... OMG... what just happened!

Even when she got the gun it didn't occur to me what she was going to do. In fact, I thought she was going to knock it out of the park and do a great job.

So I think this movie is much better to watch if you know nothing about it. So when recommending someone watch this movie... Don't tell them anything about it other than it's really good.

I thought this was a much better film than the vastly overrated Oscar darlings Jackie and la la land. Deserves a much bigger audience . Shame

Jackie is not an Oscar darling. In fact, I believe Natalie Portman's performance is the only nomination it received and deservedly so. As for La La, it's a masterpiece and gets better with subsequent viewings. I haven't seen Christine yet but it's on my list. The true story is intriguing and Rebecca Hall is one of the most underrated actresses working today.

I didnt know this either , but surely anyone interested in watching the movie would know this end result?

like the Titanic movie. The iceberg is no surprise.

LOL, I remember when the event first made the news in '74, but I honestly didn't have a clue till I heard the name "Chubbock", then, uh oh....

I knew what was coming and I was still shocked. I thought the director was going to cut away from the moment.

Same here, I didn't know anything about the story except that it's based on a real event. The scene where she killed herself on air shocked me. It's a really good movie, but it's too sad to watch twice. You never know what happen in person mind.
