How real was the "feud" between Diesel/Johnson?

Real beef, or just played up for the sake of the film?

I heard rumors that it was all fake promotion for the movie. They may even do a cross promotional thing at Wrestlemainia this year with Vin and The Rock fighting each other.

Fast Five (2011)

its the one where the rock is chasing them

empire magazine said it was like a WWF version of michael mann's Heat (1995)

Eh, it was probably all for promotion. I've heard them both say that they want to do more movies in the franchise so I would assume whatever has happened has already blown over.

The way it was played seemed like it was real and if it was fake then they did a good job about it. Im sure they are still friends now tho so yeah.

It was mostly promotion... The Rock has a very busy schedule right now so it also serves as an excuse for him not being able to promote the movie as much as Vin Diesel and some of the other actors.

There were talks of them doing a hell in a cell match at Wrestlemania but it never came about
